We recently invested in a new, state-of-the-art, 3D imaging equipment engineered specifically for companion pets. Vimago™ is a new type of CT Scanner that employs patented High-Definition Volumetric Imaging (HDVI™) Technology that allows veterinarians to scan the entire body or a pet in minutes at any angle, thickness, or orientation to see incredibly detailed high resolution images.
This is a new standard in CT imaging. Vimago™ also has onboard Digital Radiography and Fluoroscopy that helps us with:
- Surgical planning (soft tissue, orthopedic or dental surgery)
- Tumors (identification and assessment)
- Trauma evaluation
- Foreign bodies (locate and identify)
- Evaluation of internal organs for abnormalities. (Identification of lesions as small as 0.09 mm - the thickness of a human hair!)
- Fluoroscopy using real-time imaging for a variety of conditions.
