Working together to provide specialized care as Niagara’s Best Referral Hospital
Meet Our Owner, Dr. Ness
Since owning GAH in 2010, Dr. Ness has acted as a referral surgeon for other clinics as her passion lies in the surgery room.
“I have a lengthy history with Dr. Ness dating back to her early days working at the Emergency clinic. I learned quickly that I could trust her to give intelligent and compassionate care to each one of my pets. She has never disappointed.” – Sigrid C.

We can diagnose and being faster treatment with the Vimago™
We recently invested in a new, state-of-the-art, first of its kind, 3D imaging equipment engineered specifically for companion pets. Vimago™ is a new type of CT Scanner that employs patented High-Definition Volumetric Imaging (HDVI™) Technology that allows veterinarians to scan the entire body of a pet in minutes at any angle, thickness, or orientation to see incredibly detailed high-resolution images.
This new standard for primary imaging uses much less radiation than standard CT systems on the market. Vimago™ also has onboard Digital Radiography and Fluoroscopy that helps us with:
- Dentistry
- Tumors (identification and assessment)
- Trauma
- Lesions (resolutions as small as 0.09mm, about the thickness of human hair)
- Foreign bodies
- Abnormalities anywhere in the body (real-time, moving X ray images)
- Assisting in surgical planning
